As a blend it has no single CAS number, molecular formula, or molecular weight; each component is a distinct chemical entity. In vitro and animal models describe the components as ligands interacting with anti-inflammatory/melanocortin-associated, copper-transport/matrix, cytoprotective, and actin-regulatory pathways.
